From the desk of #ProfessorTriTech: Changing History, one Invoice at a Time You’ve just finished ringing up a large invoice for one of your best customers. You click the “Save” button, post the payment, and look at the printed receipt, only to realize you’ve forgotten the customer’s Purchase Order number, which they require to track their own internal spending. Your customer is having trouble making payments on an outstanding layaway, and you offer to extend the “paid in full” date as a token of good will. A service ticket has been invoiced, but needs to have its “bill-to” customer account adjusted to the correct payee, while the “ship-to” account also has to be added to reflect where the product should be delivered. All of these elements can be modified using the “Change Invoice” program found underneath the Customer module. You can also add or modify invoice and line item notes, adjust terms on charged sales invoices, and when it’s all done and saved, quickly print a new copy for handing to the customer or emailing to their address on file.
