From the diary of our persian editor: Translating from English to other languages is much easier than translating from other languages to English. This is because many children from across the world are introduced to the English language and culture through media and the great number of translated books as well as online gaming in recent years. They are therefore more or less familiar with the culture of English-speaking countries. At first we had chosen some books for publishing by Tiny Owl which we believed could open doors to a whole new world. However, in practice, we were faced with the difficulty of translating them because of the near impossibility of transferring the culture behind these books through mere translation. Thus, we had to put those titles aside. Perhaps we will briefly mention those experiences here some weeks from now.
