I seen my gat, Watching from afar, a love that is held hostage Like caged birds who secretly speak words, And sing such tunes that create Absurd melodys restricted by the boundaries of life, Flying in groups, fighting the strife With invisible bars that hold us back from a love lost I have done things that do not matter And i really am not proud but unlike these birds in the clouds I flap my wings trying to achieve the same things, measuring my worth with each grain of self entitlement Ive been shamed And seen pain but nothing came and Ive been made insecure for the sake of making sure that my love is pure,,,,, i dont ask for too much i didnt ask too much and i wont ask 2much but this love wants more For what does a man like me deserve when my tank is kuk empty and Im on reserve, Yet people still have the Nerve to take me for Granted, and Serve me on a plate full of wishes that degrades me yet i drive an ideology that has so gripped me and equipped me From the highest mountain to the lowest tree starving me of my basic needs, that not being shelter,food or water but rather the attention,love and commitment that i seek, Its not my fault you value this relationship making it weak and i speak with my heart & not my mind trying to find out why but its like we both blind I gave you my allI put my heart out to grab you like those birds Flying south for the winter In order to keep warm like I held you &I hold you trying my best to be all that i can be so you could see Im the one for you and your the one for me And I always knew who you were What you could become And why you deserved it all But time has passed and now Im again last And the trees are dying losing my patience, yet Im still trying and you denying which causes hatred and anger Taking root into the soiled plains all you do is complain The stench of despair overcomes the valley said we be different if we got back 2gether, yet shit is still the same And the fog of tears covers the rolling hills killing me inside and you dont want to know exactly how it feels whats the deal??? From the highest mountain to the lowest tree That is where my love exists and thats all ill ever be and if the issue persists Like the deep water in the ocean It goes on forever never seizing the moment No matter how many times it is disturbed It remains active and flowing doing your own thing Forever reflecting my own image to you So you can see the face of love and that Im true But im conflicted and restricted Like the crosswinds in a tornado severely inflicted Unsure of where to go and how to move Words to say and emotions to prove Because I dont know if you will uptake and make All the excess in my heart and brain get rid of all the doubt and the pain For the serotinin levels are getting low you said yourself you slacking, keeping promises of how you going to show me that we moving forward and proceeding the great ocean of love is receding and its only my heart that keeps on bleeding And I can see that beautiful birds growing weaker Because the nutrients they used to eat was poisoned in a beaker Which they got from a shelf in a lab poisoned by resentment which is sad And its tree no longer releases fruit dead twigs and breaking branches you cant treat me the way u want to and take anymore chances Now all it releases is promises for us to be fine The skeletons of our past draped about As if its halloween all the time And the winters are harsh Because they kill all that renews and my views From the highest mountain to the lowest tree i wana be with you but do you wana be with me???? my love is strong Like the walls of rock that surround the mountain cant you see Like the stock of the tree Like the word of god to a priest and i can say i atleast worship your beauty and perfection I embrace your imperfections Allowing for me to lose connection With your heart which is so seperate and delicate in my thoughts its hard for me 2 see, how Everyday you walk across these streets of my mind In a foreign land full of no love claiming you want to make me yours Except for the love you said you have for me. it really opened dooors I Remember all the things you proclaimed tryna give you all that i have, but it isnt the same please bby cant you explain???
