From the home office of CFB: The Chop Shop Pub in Seabrook NH!!! What a unique music/entertainment experience. The Chris Fitz Band played their first show ever at the Chop Shop this past Saturday night, and what fun we had. Yes, its a biker bar with a big slice of Laconia Bike Week vibes complete with beautiful shot girls a stripper pole, bartenders in skimpy night wear but its also so much more. Located about 3 minutes off 495 its easy to get to and has a huge parking lot. There are many pool tables and possibly the best burger I have ever eaten anywhere! Terrific pizza as well as a full pub menu so go with a hearty appetite. The set up for music is top rate professional with a great stage, sound system, show lights and smoke machine and dance floor and the room sounds excellent! What sets this room apart from most others is the owner Bill The Boss dressed in his top hat and braided goatee getting the entire crowd involved with an assortment of fun and wacky activities to go along with the bands music. At any given time there are hula hoop girls, frisbies being thrown around, a toilet paper gun shooting streams of paper at all the dancers, a Corn Hole game going on and legend has it that during the steaming summer months Bill The Boss breaks out dozens of water guns and giant water gun fights erupt. One might think this is all a distraction from the band on stage but at the Chop Shop it all works together for a hootin tootin night of fun. The other great thing is that the large biker clientele mixes seamlessly with non bikers and all types of people. This is a biker bar that makes everyone feel welcome. My 78 year old father had a blast at the place! CFB has another show coming up there on Friday February 20th and we cant wait.
