From the insightful pen of Tesha Miller: If I had billions, I would create economic systems/policy which would enhance my riches and further concentrate it and then sell this ideology to the poor as freedom or as the natural state of man. I would let them believe that political democracy levels the playing field but I would give them the politicians on which to vote. I would wield power under the guise as earned position of authority and attach endearing terms to myself such as the innovator, the job creator, the banker, the entrepreneur. I would make them pay me hefty sums in taxes via subsidizes and break down tariffs to enfeeble their own labor and cut in the quick their ability to effectively organize democratically inspired labor rebellions. I would have them to fight and die for the interests of commerce and reward them with a flag on a coffin and name them patriots. They could vent their hostilities towards politicians or government, but they would never be able to make a move against my supreme authority, for embedded within their laws has always been my tampering.
