From the looks of it, since the new government has taken charge in India, Pakistan has had multiple LOC violations. Modi on the day he won was predicted by experts to show zero tolerance for muslim minority in India. He has been incriminated in anti-muslim riots in the past. His closest advisor, a few months ago didnt think twice before expressing that India is ready for war with Pakistan at the slightest of hints. What kind of nonsense is this? The last thing both India & Pakistan need is an aggressive leader in India ready to throw one of the most populated regions of the world in flames of war. If there was another war between India & Pakistan, we all know that it will be a nuclear war. And what does that mean to everyone in India & Pakistan. It means death. Death, death & only death. And what would a nuclear war in India & Pakistan mean to the rest of the world. It means the beginning of the third world war. Even a 7th grader of India & Pakistan knows this. Then why is it so hard for the new government of India to know this? Peace between the two nations is no longer just an option for both the countries. Peace is, without any doubt, an absolute necessity for life in both India & Pakistan as oxygen is. Survivability of both nations is dependent on peace between the two countries. This is not impossible. Pakistanis & Indians share a lot in common. Kashmir must be treated fairly. India is a democracy as long as we stay out of Kashmir. The democratic constitution of India is paralyzed in Kashmir where everyday civilians are killed & have been killed since 1947 because they cannot express their voice. Their human rights are violated every day by the Indian Army. As a Pakistani, I do not ask India to give Kashmir to Pakistan & neither should our government. But, as a human, I do demand the Indian government to give the Kashmiris their RIGHT TO CHOOSE. This right is theirs since 1947. Violating it every second by killing civilians will not bring justice & peace & definitely not democracy to Kashmir. For all those in the world thinking that India is a democratic country, I have just one question. Why does the democracy of India get impotent in the boundaries of Kashmir?
