From the moment I found out I was having a little girl , my dream has always been to see her dance on stage. Dance class, little leotards, dance shoes, costumes, recitals... I couldnt wait for it all. Addilyns diagnosis brought a world of heartache and every dream I had ever dreamt for her was thrown out the window. My world came crashing down. Id never have the opportunity to watch her dance on stage with her best friend, her little sister and her cousin. Doctors, science and statistics said she wouldnt live long enough... here we are three years and almost five months into it and my little girl is dancing. Maybe not the way others freely do but with some assistance, she CAN and DOES do it! I praise the Lord for it!! I cant express the thanks my heart would like to, to her dance teacher, Miss Lauryn at the Broadway Academy of Dance. If you could see my heart you would know exactly what it means to me for you to be so accepting of Addilyn. She may be disabled but she IS ABLE! There arent many things that can compare to seeing her surrounded by little ones in her age group, watching her take in the sound of music and feeling every move and vibration dance class has to offer. This is a dream come true; for her and for I. I never thought she would be given the chance to dance. I feel so blessed and and so incredibly thankful for it. Please continue to pray for my sweet girl that she might be strong and healthy enough to attend every dance class between now and the time of her recital. What a miracle it would be to have my princess on stage dancing like a dancing queen... What an emotional, beautiful day that would be. All things are possible through Him... Addilyn is doing well overall. She seems to be a bit more sleepy than usual but we are decreasing some of her medications to counteract for that. Please pray for success. This first picture you see is of her after dance class last night and the second was earlier today being very sleepy. We are very thankful for your love, support and prayers.
