From the office of Ezendigbo “Ndi Kwe Ndi Ekweghi” It is happening as I write. There are thieves and robbers all over Anambra State, but this time in a different dimension. Just like Father Xtmas, Governor Peter Obi assembles people dangling cheques and cash of billions of naira to them even bishops of different denominations. Among the people are thieves which he unknowingly created and developed because he could not provide job opportunities for them. Governor Peter Obi it was, who was boasting in London that he was going to fight armed robbery in the state by creating job opportunities for jobless Nigerians, Ibos especially, who were forced into armed robbery due to hardship.. Governor Peter Obi’s manifesto in London was education, education, education. Many Nigerians in London thought “Finally a Messiah has come”. What happened to all those promises? Peter Obi failed to deliver and he is leaving the state as he met it. Now robbers have invaded churches in Nnewi, Nnokwa and so on, carting away all the money Peter Obi gave them. We are against robbery by any standard. We are against evil and crime no matter what, but what we are saying, is that Governor Peter Obi, and in fact all politicians, should stop religious politics with the masses money and should endeavour to create enabling environment for people to get jobs as he promised.
