From the stable of Osun Gong: MORE REVELATIONS IN OSUN TRIBUNAL. There were startling revelations of grave malpractices and manipulations of the electoral process of the August 9, 2014 election, revelations at ballot papers verification ongoing at the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in Osogbo has revealed. At the verification venue, it was discovered that over one hundred votes scored by both the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party were wrongly counted for and allocated to the All Progressives Congress. According to this revelation, the Labour Party must have scored about 50,000 votes instead of the over 8,000 votes declared for party by the returning officer, Prof. Bamitale Omole. It was also discovered that several thousands of votes casted in favour of the PDP were either voided or outrightly counted for the APC. However, the total number of PDP votes wrongfully allotted to the APC were still been calculated as at press time. Another damning revelation during the exercise include the discovery of a large number of result slips of the West African Examination Council ( WAEC) dubiously counted as ballot papers and votes in favour of APC. Also, lawyers of the political parties present were stunned to find photocopies of ballot papers which were counted and recorded as votes for the APC during the verification exercise. It was gathered that the APC lawyers were so rattled by this open revelation to the extent that they claimed that the photocopy machine they brought for the exercise was faulty, which an insider called an attempt to stall the verification exercise. There was a mild drama when the APC lawyers turned down the offer by PDP lawyers to assist them with the PDP photocopier which the APC counsels declined and instead asked for suspension of the exercise until when the party is able to produce another machine. Truth shall surely be unveiled.
