From the talented Harrison Funk:We need to band together, create a movement, and fight back against Getty, Facebook, Instagram, and all the media outlets that usurp our images for their gain. (Professional) photography has value. Teach our budding photographers that giving away their work doesnt get their foot in the door, it kills our profession. If we dont join together now there wont be a profession left on years to come. This is a call for help and to fight the good fight to preserve our art and profession. Photography published on the internet has the same value as that published in print. Its not automatically public domain just because it appears online.
