From this weeks Downtown (BIA) Update... The Ward 2 participatory budget process in 2013 resulted in the approval of a budget to plan and organize a multicultural festival for the Ward 2 area. A free one-day festival for connecting and celebrating the rich diversity in Hamiltons Ward 2 neighbourhoods will happen on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Pier 8 - Hamilton Waterfront Trust, located at 47 Discovery Drive. The festival will feature local performers, music, games, kids activities, food, and arts and crafts vendors.
