From time to time, the Bay Area Humane Society faces difficult - TopicsExpress

From time to time, the Bay Area Humane Society faces difficult care issues with some of our beloved animal guests. That is where we are today. We have 4 special needs cats who deserve a home - as all of our animal guests do - but in these cases the desire to get them in homes is more urgent. Bugs and Noodle are adorable 6-month-old brothers, who have chronic conjunctivitis, one of the most common symptoms of the respiratory illness also known as Feline Herpes. Other symptoms include sneezing, congestion, watery eyes and nose, but humans and dogs are not at risk for catching feline herpes. This is not a life-threatening illness and, while they will always harbor the disease, they will not have constant outbreaks and may, in fact, outgrow this condition. The stress of living in a shelter environment - no matter how exceptional the care - certainly is contributing to the outbreaks these little guys experience from time to time. Can you help us? Bugs and Noodle are very bonded and need to be adopted together. At the same time, handsome Leo also suffers from occasional outbreaks of conjunctivitis and need special homes. All of these animals have been to an eye specialist and are being treated at this time with medications that will be supplied to you when you adopt them into your home and into your heart. Please come to visit Bugs and Noodle or Leo - every one of them will be happy to see you - and consider adopting them. And if you cannot adopt at this time, please share this post with your Facebook friends. We want to move these special guests of the Bay Area Humane Society into forever, loving homes.
