From todays Evening Express: A NEW image of an Aberdeen historic landmark, set for renovation, can today be revealed. This exclusive artist’s impression shows the final phase of the Wallace Tower project, which is to be transformed into a community hub by 2016. The Tillydrone Development Trust has applied for planning and listed building consent from Aberdeen City Council to create a community area at the Seaton Park building. The artist’s impression shows a contemporary design attached to the existing granite building to accommodate a coffee shop and a gallery. The tower will house a multi-purpose room, with two offices on the second floor.
