From where does my help come from If not from the Lord He has provided for me all my needs And has given me fruit for my table And fruit to my womb He has provided me safety And He directs my life In the way I should go My health and my blessings come from the Lord For from His bountiful store He floods me with His promises Promises that will take me through this life And onto the next For He has placed before me All that I need He brings across my path Those that will lend a hand A hug or a smile Just when I need it He brings across my path A blockage Preventing me from continuing on the path I was on And therefore saving my life We go about our daily life Without a thought of the behind the scenes movements We know not What goes on within the spiritual world How often have we put something down to luck How lucky I was To have been saved from this or that Or how I barely missed a tragic accident Or how the disease that was diagnosed Was not what they thought Or it was We know not the plans of our heavenly Father When things do not go as we planned Or want We know not what is in store for us or our loved one When God sees fit to take us or them home But we have to trust and obey His plan for us We need to know that all things will work out for the best For those who love the Lord And Lord, I love You And let me rest in the knowing That You direct my steps Each and every one of them.
