Pure and Healthy Salon has an opening for a Guest Service Representative at the Front Desk in the Salon JOB DESCRIPTION: The front desk associates set the guest expectations for their experience by greeting and welcoming guests, assisting guests with reservations, checking guests in and out, rebooking reservations, assisting with retail purchases, providing and superior guest service at all times. Qualifications: Greet and bid farewell to guests ensuring a strong, positive first and last impression Learn and use names of guests and members, as well as personal preferences Monitor appointment schedule at all times to ensure efficiency Must be able quickly learn or have knowledge of Salon computer software Perform opening and closing duties for the salon Re-book members for their next visit Must be able to work Mon -- Fri 10 to 7 and Sat 8 to 6, Closed on Sundays Assist Facialists with laundry and other tasks Clean and stock retail area to ensure merchandising integrity Clean and organize work areas and maintain adequate supply levels Take initiative and appropriate action to resolve customer complaints Highly organized, efficient, self-motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to multi-task A polished, professional appearance also Stylish, fashionable and always dressed appropriately Ability to work independently with little or no supervision Minimum of 1-2 years customer service experience Knowledge of the salon and spa industry a plus Customer-focused and team-oriented Detail oriented, conscientious, thorough and reliable Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure Working knowledge of Apple computers , Word and Excel preferred Able to stand for an entire shift--up to 6-8 hours (Front Desk) Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings Sales: Up sell add-ons and a la carte services to those receiving basic services Maintain knowledge of retail products and service offerings Sell gift cards Compensation: $8. - $9./ hr.
