Frozen RUMORS Anna and Elsa will be on 7 day cruises on 3 or 4 ships. Currently nobody has hard proof of this happening. They did appear in meet and greets on cruises when the movie first occurred. So, it might happen but for now there is nothing on the Cruise Line that I can find. Norway is fighting with Disney over whether Maelstrom will become Arendelle. Norway wants the pavilion and ride to remain Norwegian while Disney is asking for $9 million from Norway to refurbish the pavilion. The attraction is rumored to be going down the end of October through the rest of the year. TRUE or FALSE? Laurie, that is me, doubts that Disney can get the building permits, hire contractors, and finish the transformation in such little time. We have seen overlays take a month so it is not that simple to transform a ride. Disney can rip out the polar bears and place animatronic figures from the storage as they did with America Sings and Horizons left over characters. The polar bears can be replaced by ice harversters, Sven and Kristof. The ogre scenes can be replaced with Anna in the woods with Olaf, Kristoff and Sven. The part where you go backwards could be Elsa zapping the boat backwards as she sings LET IT GO!! and you end up in happy Arendelle as you dock. The end show can be replaced with scenes from Frozen. As you seen most of this is set decorating that is easy to do and cheaply. Cruise ship rumor is possible and easy for Disney to do. They already have characters on board. As for Norway becoming Arendelle, NOT HAPPENING, unless USA goes to war with Norway.
