Frugal Friday Winner! * * * * * * * * One of our favorite baby gifts 31 years ago was a baby floor quilt that we used with all five of our kids. Annette wanted to make something special for John and Rachel to celebrate the birth of our first grandchild. Their nursery theme is Star Wars, so Annette found the Star Wars fabric at JoAnn’s and used a coupon (of course). The rest of the materials were pulled from her fabric storage boxes. The total out of pocket cost was $5.19. But the hours of love put into the construction of the quilt were somewhere between 10 and 20.
