Fruit Bat: somewhere near India gate as a child i was always scared of bats. i remember rushing home the moment i used to see bats flying over from one end to another. driving home from India Gate i spotted a tree lined avenue with huge black patches- initially i got a little scared but then i thought maybe these are plastics sheets draped on fruits to protect them from birds. But then suddenly these black plastic sheets came to life and started flying from one end to another.and i realised that these are bats How majestic, elegant they appeared while flying.
