Frustrating, but it seems there is indeed a problem someplace with my viper system. Many thanks to John Le Sage for the help by phone today. Still click and no start, and I believe the viper system is at fault. I have found a couple of solutions I will try tomorrow, up to and including getting rid of the Viper. First up is throwing it into learn mode, and disabling the ignition kill. Then well see what happens. No matter what, since we never had a set of door keys for her truck, and the locks were totally operated by the viper, I will be off to the Ford dealer to get a set of door keys made. But now I think Im going to have some breakfast at 6pm.
