Fu*k.. Today, I saved my Mi 3 from turning into a paperweight! What happened? A while back, I removed the micro SIM card from the phone and inserted the tray back along with the empty micro SIM card adapter. Today, after few weeks when I tried opening the SIM card tray of Mi 3, it didnt came out and was literally struck. Thats because, as there was no SIM inside, the gold pins holded the adapter thus preventing it from coming out. Fortunately, I didnt applied much force and searched about the solution. Thankfully, I found this video that saved my beloved Mi 3. It took several tries though and now my phone is working perfectly. P.S. Never ever insert an empty SIM card adapter in your phone (Any phone). Lesson learnt! Hope you found this post useful. :)
