Fulham FC Official are plotting a summer move for ex-Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt, according to reports from the Daily Star. The Dutchman left the Reds to join Fenerbahce last summer, but is rumoured to be considering his options after the club’s exclusion from the Champions League. UEFA issued the Turkish giants with a two-year ban from European competition for match fixing, which leaves Kuyt facing the prospect of winding down his career in Istanbul with no continental football. As a result, he could be keen on a return to the Premier League, and Fulham are rumoured to be willing to offer him that opportunity. The Cottagers were one of many teams who made official offers for the now 32-year-old last year, but he elected to join Fener. Fulham chief Martin Jol is a big admirer of the versatile front-man, and sees him as somebody who can add experience to his attacking options. The hard-working utility man spent six years on Merseyside, lifting the League Cup and appearing in a Champions League final in that period. He won many fans in England due to his never-say-die attitude, something that has attracted Jol who is keen to partner him with the laid-back Dimitar Berbatov.
