Fulham and Ipswich are both looking to snap up Manchester United shot stopper Sam Johnstone on loan next season. The keeper made 18 appearances for Doncaster last term and has proved his quality at Championship level. The 21-year-olds breakout has alerted several clubs, with Fulham, Ipswich and Birmingham all reportedly keeping tabs on the situation at Old Trafford. United have recognised his talents by handing him a bumper new three-and-a-half-year contract in January but know he needs more first team exposure. And the club have indicated theyre willing to let Johnstone leave the club again, with all three Championship sides ready to vie for his loan signing. [Source: Daily Star]
