Full Moon in Taurus: From Destruction to Creation To love is to destroy, and that to be loved is to be the one destroyed. -- Cassandra Clare On November 6, the full Moon in Taurus brings the Scorpio-Taurus polarities into dramatic focus. All of the work around excavating our dark sides, destroying our weaknesses and obsessions is now being balanced with the grounding and growing nature of Taurus. Taurus creates and Scorpio destroys, and right now were all caught up in the dance between the two extremes. The South Node finishing up the last few months in the sign of Taurus, so the theme of having to relinquish our old attachments, possessions or false sense of security is heightened at this full Moon. Our values are shifting and changing. There is a major death and rebirth process that may seem to be never-ending at this point, but consider this full Moon one of the major culmination points. There is something beautiful and shiny attempting to be born from this ever-daunting chrysalis. This is an opportunity to examine where you are personally on the creation-destruction continuum. How can you uproot some of your more destructive patterns in love and life? Where are you out of touch with your value system? Where do you need to more passionately create? Are you so attached to stability and familiarity that youre terrified to destroy even negative attachments? This is a time to send a deathwish to the stagnant areas of your life. What are you still holding on to that is, in essence, just slowly dying and killing your soul in the process? True security means having the power to let go of all ruts and rusty chains. When Taurus and Scorpio work together in dynamic tension, the potential for beautifully intense creation is un-paralleled. There is a determined and loyal side to both of these signs that will see anything or anyone through to the bitter end. This is why its so important to make sure that your loyalties match your values now, or you could end up hopelessly devoted to either negative drama or suffocating stagnation. Destroy in order to create -- create in order to destroy!
