Full Price Has Been Paid “But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 The full price has been paid, that’s what Isaiah is saying. So you don’t come to God wondering whether God is going to give to you or not, know that the price has been paid. He said lengthen your court and enlarge your place, because abundance is coming to your house whether the devil likes it or not. God said you will spread out from the right and the left, your descendants will take over other nations and they will resettle deserted cities, don’t be afraid because you won’t be put to shame, don’t be discouraged because you won’t be disgraced, you will not see shame, you will not see reproach. He said you will forget the shame that you’ve had since you were young and you will not remember the reproach in your life anymore. He said your husband is the Maker, He is called the Holy One of Israel, the Defender of the armies and He is called the Defender of the whole earth. He called you as if you were a wife who was abandoned in grief, a wife who married young and was rejected. Thus says your God, I have abandoned you for one brief moment but I will bring you back with unlimited compassion, He said I hid my face from you in a burst of anger but I will have compassion on you with everlasting kindness. Everlasting means it will never end. Just like the song goes, the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never comes to an end, they are new every morning, great is His faithfulness The brothers of Joseph decided they will sell him but when you go to Psalm 105:17, God said they thought that they were selling him but they didn’t know that God was sending him forth. So let the tempest rage, let the billows toss high, it will all turn out for your good because the price has been paid, that’s why we rejoice. What God did through Christ is greater than what the devil did to damage man. Rejoice now because the price is fully paid. You will end this year rejoicing. You will finish strong in Jesus’ name.
