**** Full team Page 03.06 Hrs 25th July Monday ***** Team paged to a trawler coming into port with a fisherman with a dislocated shoulder ! On arrival at the fish market the trawler had already berthed alongside with the crewmember still down below lying on the floor of the galley and no ambulance on scene. After boarding the trawler and locating the casualty who as you can understand was in considerable pain. Then ambulance crew turned up and started to administer gas and air to try and ease the pain before we tried to stand the cas up. At which point after several gulps of gas and air we tried to stand the cas up and place him on a seat at which point a few choice words were said by the cas who accidentally went to move his arm to steady himself and popped his shoulder back into place !!! This made our task of evac of the cas a lot easier, who was then transferred to the ambulance to be taken to hospital. Team stood down at 04.07 Hrs early morning alarm call not required !
