Full time at Allianz Stadium, and perhaps the last hour of play - TopicsExpress

Full time at Allianz Stadium, and perhaps the last hour of play wasnt as exciting or entertaining as the first half an hour, but nonetheless an important win for Sydney FC as they held on with 10 men to record a 3-2 win over Melbourne Victory in the 31st Big Blue. Goals to Richard Garcia and Seb Ryall, with a penalty to Alessandro Del Piero marked the first 37 minutes of the contest, while Archie Thompson and James Troisi also scored for the Victory in a crazy first half. Kevin Muscat was handed his first loss as head coach, as their road form is becoming a bit of a concern with only one win in their last eight matches. Could be a turning point for the Sky Blues season as they break a three match losing streak, and could of perhaps relived some pressure on Frank Farina. Thats it for now, be back later on for a big night of Barclays Premier League, headlined here by Crystal Palace versus Everton, but interest in the 3pm kick offs with Chelsea and Liverpool also in action,
