Fun fact... On Van Halens Women And Children First tour in 1980 all Eddie ate pretty much was PF Changs. Eddie was eating so much of it they would tease him until he had trouble going out on stage (hence 28 Heinekens pre show!) Poor guy was probably already feeling the pressures of having to live up to his newly acquired legend status but then you couple that with DLR making up funny songs every night backstage like Kung Pao Chicken, Hot n Sour soup, tomorrow Eds gonna have bright orange poop. Or another one was Firecracker Shrimp, Mongolian Beef, Two-handed tapping would never fly with Keef. I guess these little songs really bothered him and you wonder why they kicked Dave out? This is stuff Ive dug deep on the internet to figure out and I spoke with a friend that did lights for them in the early days and he confirmed all this.
