Fun fact for the day! The earliest day in the secular calendar - TopicsExpress

Fun fact for the day! The earliest day in the secular calendar year that Hannukah can begin is November 27th. This year, all the Jewish holidays fell on the earliest day possible. 1899 was the last year this happened, until this year! It will only occur once more, in 2089. This is due to a leap-month (Adar II) added to the Jewish calendar, to keep the Jewish holidays in their proper seasons. -Rabbi Jason Miller’s blog
