Fun filled day at Kanakapura Campus 7th August 2014 Children of Ekya school from all the three campuses – JP Nagar, ITPL and Kanakapura had new experiences on a fun filled day hosted at Ekya Early Years, Kanakapura road today. Kids enjoyed a puppet show put up by Ms. Jayashree on ‘Safe and Unsafe touch’. There were rhymes and other small stories to make the show a big hit. Children met community helpers like the policeman, a milkman, a dentist, a volunteer from PETA. At the animal station, children were thrilled to meet a cow, calf, dog, goat and sheep. They were excited to touch them and see them so closely. Milking the cow amazed them! Art teachers got them to make finger puppets and bubble painting. Some children got to learn how to make an owl using clay in the clay corner. Children learnt many things through experience and hands-on activities, what better way can a child learn! It was a wonderful day with loads of learning! Photos coming up soon – and definitely worth a wait!
