Fun to turn over rocks, but be careful when you do. No telling - TopicsExpress

Fun to turn over rocks, but be careful when you do. No telling what youll find when you flip them over. Homespun crap that I have put in my next Mary Randolph book, but I should have been paying attention when I wrote that. This little lightweight story was going to show the connection between the murders of Marilyn Monroe, Ernest Hemingway, and Jack Kennedy. --Also thought I would shine a little light on the history of the Kennedy family. When I was a sweet young thing, I was caught in the glow of the Camelot White House legend,as were most of my generation. In my case, my husband was a real hero--he flew in the Cuban missile crisis, and I was proud to be a part of that shining new world that our president was leading us--civilians and warriors- toward. Then, Camelot turned into a dusty, tarnished world when JFK was killed--and on camera! Slowly, over the years, it became evident that our heroes of that era were less than golden, and that Americans werent always the good guys. -Growing up is such a painful thing.- Now, in doing the research for this lightweight little entertainment of a book, I am finding material that is shocking even after all these years. Not sure how I can work it all in without losing the lightweight background I am aiming for--some of it is pretty much of a nest of snakes. The deception that disguised all of that nest is a real shocker of organized crime, the CIA and a lot of the big names of our entertainment industry of the time. But at least it is keeping me entertained!
