Fun weekend! Friday night I was the featured entertainment for the Golden Age of Illusion black-tie gala to benefit St. Josephs Hospital and West Virginia Wesleyan. Got to see old student activities friends Alisa Lively and Bob Funner Than Fun Skinner. Patricia Lake from the St. Josephs Foundation did a great job recreating a Victorian-era performance space inspired by the Edward Norton film The Illusionist and reminiscent of Maskeylnes Egyptian Hall -- Englands Home of Mystery. The Stonewall Resort was renamed Stonewalls Hall of Mystery. Pics are of the billboard art and Alisa Lively! Saturday saw the kick off of the Back to School 2014 Tour with a visit to the Central Michigan University campus where I entertained 2300 students in the Sports Forum (hoping to post some pics soon). Dani Hiar helms Leadership Safari at CMU and has done so for 14 straight years. This was my seventh appearance as part of this incredible program. Weekends like this illustrate what makes this job fun -- the variety of venues and audiences I work for. Although Im going to be seeing A LOT of college students over the next couple of weeks. Next up, another CMU -- Carnegie Mellon University on Tuesday!
