Fun weekend ..... getting gifties (thank you Michelle) and giving gifties; trying to spoil my Mom with lots of flower arrangements and fun little presents. Mom & Sis walked in the Susan Komen event today; I actually thought I was going to participate (who would have known that Id end up on oxygen). :-). The girls looked marvelous in pink. :-). Also a wonderful couple at church brought me a blanket with scriptures all over it and also some wheat grass tea to try out. Had some laughs this weekend with Landon trying to ride my tank like a motorcycle. :-). Good times with friends at church; wonderful ending to our weekend. :-). Busy week ahead .... back in for lab work to see how Im doing, chemo mid-week and my doc asked me to come to St. Joes for a chest x-ray. I must say Im a little nervous; had an x-ray in August where a spot of pneumonia was found (I remember Fred & I jumping up and down in the kitchen being happy that at least it was pneumonia and not cancer), a few weeks later with a follow up chest scan, my doc said it looked dramatic with lesions & nodules hroughout both lungs. We need to see a significant change in the scan this week and I know that with God all things are possible. I had a great blessing yesterday when I could walk with hubby in Home Depot for a half hour without my oxygen and my numbers stayed good; Im believing to breathe normal again very soon and believing for Big God Size miracles this week. Have a peaceful sleep and have a blessed Monday friends.
