Without such a kind of interventions, groundwater resources depletion in Sana’a Basin will continue increasing. The #Netherlands helps #Yemen with this important intervention related to establishing of a proper, decentralized integrated sustainable water resource management in Sana Basin.Next year a similar #project will take place in Tihama Basin. The Water Programme of the #Dutch Embassy in #Yemen (2014 – 2017) has been focusing on two main water issues in Yemen: Integrated Sustainable Water Resource Management (ISWRM), and (drink) Water and Sanitation (WASH). In the coming period attention will be paid to water scarcity and effective water management in two selected basins – Sana Basin and Tihama Basin.
