Fundraising and Communications Director East Valley Community Health Center, located in East San Gabriel Valley, is seeking an experienced Fundraising and Communications Director. Please submit resume to [email protected] Fundraising Responsibilities: Development and implementation of a fundraising plan; new and repeat donor management; grant writing; individual donor and corporate solicitations and implementation of annual fundraising event. Major donor development campaigns; development of a Planned Giving Program. Communications Responsibilities: Manage development of public affairs communications such as annual report, general PowerPoint presentations, government relations, executive speeches. Produce general content for website and develop and coordinate multi-media communications to expand East Valley’s visibility with targeted audiences. Position Qualifications: At least five years of non-profit fundraising and development experience, preferably with significant high donor, foundation and Planned Giving programs. Familiarity with Community Health Centers and community health preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to participate in public speaking events. Excellent research and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Experience with fundraising databases. Must exhibit good judgment, be creative and, ideally have a sense of humor. Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with agency’s policies and applicable laws. Must have interviewing, hiring, and training skills. Ability to assign and direct employees work and appraise performance.
