Funeral Announcements for 9/12/13 Danny Lee Duncan, age 61, a resident of Harriman, passed away Sunday, September 8 at the Roane Medical Center. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 12 between the hours of 6:00 and 7:00 pm, at Sharp Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rodney Burnett and a friend, Rick Carnes officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM in Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood. Interment will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday at the Foust Cemetery in Lake City. Dock Aldridge Stewart, Sr., 92, fisherman for life, departed this life on September 5, surrounded by his family at home. The funeral will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, Sept. 14, at Oak Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Ghosten, officiating; Rev. Dr. Hardil Thomas, Eulogist. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens with a full military ceremony. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the church. Weatherford Mortuary is handling arrangements. Mrs. Sally Ray, age 92, of Harriman, passed away Thursday, September 12 at The Bridge at Rockwood. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 – 1 p.m. at Evans Mortuary, Rockwood. A graveside service and interment will follow the visitation at Swan Pond Baptist Church Cemetery. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood is serving the family of Mrs. Sally Ray. James Allen Hodges, "Partner", age 82, of Oak Ridge, passed away Saturday, September 7 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 15 from 1 – 2 pm at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral will begin at 2 pm with Brother Eddie Payne officiating. The burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Weatherford Mortuary is handling arrangements. Joshua Aaron Poche passed away this morning at Methodist Medical Center. Jackson Funeral Services in Oliver Springs will be handling the arrangements which are incomplete at this time.
