My mother, Margie Chilton had a very wide circle. There are so many family members and friends all across the United States that it would be nearly impossible for us to make all the calls to everyone that would want to know. I have received so many public and private messages that assure me the circle is even larger than I or she would have ever imagined. She was only 49 tall but she was a force to be reckoned with. She often said God may have made her short but he also made equalizers to help balance that out. It did not pay to underestimate Marge. Her diagnosis was a surprise to us all and her passing so suddenly just 11 days later still has me in wonderment and a bit of denial. How did this tiny force of nature leave so suddenly? How does this happen? How do you lose your mother in the blink of an eye? So many things left to say, to do. The last few things she said to me were endearments that she used when I was small. And she told me to be brave. I never realized what being brave meant until now.........
