Funeral five-year-old terrorist. Donbass. Ukraine. Locals gathered in the village of Stanitsa near Lugansk, Friday, for the funeral of a father and son killed in recent airstrikes. The family members were killed on July 2 in a residential quarter close to Kondrashevskaya-Novaya rail station in the Lugansk region. In total five people were killed in the attack, with another five seriously injured. After the mother prepared the bodies of her husband and child for burial, Orthodox priests performed a prayer service as local mourners paid their respects. Closing the caskets, the funeral procession took the bodies to their burial sites, where the bereaved said their last goodbyes. During the procession and burial, smoke could be seen in the distance, serving as a reminder of the ongoing violence in eastern Ukraine. A UN official estimates that between April 15 and June 20 some 423 people have lost their lives in Eastern Ukraine, while around 50,000 people have been internally displaced.
