Funeral services for Mr. Vance Ray Duck, 72, will be held at 3pm Friday, July 4, 2014 at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Rutherford City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5pm until 8pm Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Shelton Funeral Home. Mr. Duck was born on May 14, 1942 in Trenton, TN to parents Oscar and Edrie Duck, he passed away on July 2, 2014 at Regional Hospital of Jackson, TN. Mr. Duck drove for North American Van Lines, for Yellow Freight Company for twenty years and retired. He loved to fish and received the Million Mile Safety Award. He is survived by his wife, Tony Duck; four children, Thomas Duck, Kimberly Shelton, Robert Duck and wife Stephanie, and Kerry Duck and fiancée Amanda; three grandchildren, Zach Hague, David Duck, and Addison Shelton; four siblings, Mary Helen Vestal, his twin Russell Duck, Larry Duck, and Sarah Clifton; and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Edrie Duck; by former wives, Linda Barker; Charlotte Duck, and Sherry Duck; and by several siblings. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gideon Bibles.
