Funny? I force myself out for the run/gym thing. Theres this guy at the gym I see all the time. He always smiles and nods at me. I do the same in return. Today Im doing my thing at the gym and he walks up to me and says: How are you? You dont remember me, do you? I freeze. I look at him while my mind goes into warp speed and mentally plays back all male images of the last 5 years (I figure if I encountered him before the 5 year mark, I was safe). I show no outward anxiety. After the mental reel is complete in .0000001 seconds..I come up with: Nothing! Not even a remote passing image of him. I am honest. I say: No, I dont. He smiles and says Well its always good to see you. I smile and say. You too!. Im going with due to his past smiles and nods and his approach today, whatever encounter we may have had was a positive one?
