Funny as this. I knew of a girl who studied in a primary school just below Polytechnic. She is already in service and a mother of two here in Thimphu. I met her once and she would not talk but blush and run away from me. We would always meet this little girl during our evening walk playing with some of her friends. Despite a mother of two, yet she remains ever charming and beautiful even today. I dont know who could be that lucky husband of hers. I also had a friend who was quite naughty and he would not have spared any lasses of his wits and pranks to that extend some girls like this beautiful girl would believe my friend of all his cranky talks. My naughty friend had even convince this little pretty girl that he would marry her and take her for a ride in a TATA gari, quite popular those days. People hardly knew anything of little car. One day when we went for a evening walk, we met the little pretty girl playing marbles with her friends. So, i went closer to her and told her that i would marry her and take her for a ride in a foreign car. To this she suddenly responded and said, khai foreign car gey tai tata gari drak tu. Jang gah gathpu gey jang tata ga rey ga rek bu ley dang. Funnily, gathpu was my friend who had already convinced her that he would marry her and take her for ride in Tata gari. I was amazed to know my late friend had not spared even this little girl of his wits and pranks. Later, i met the girl again and reminded her about tata gari and foreign car, she remembers so vividly and her chick go so red of blushing. We talked for sometime of some varied topics, including my friend who promised her to buy a tata gari, for this friend of mine is no more. It was funny yet so memorable. My simple take as this if you like it.
