Funny how doing whats right for constituents & what constituents want only becomes important when your job is on the line. Senator Landrieu has been dead set against the Keystone XL pipeline project for 5 years - a project that could result in thousand of jobs for her Louisiana constituents as one of the pipelines drop points would be Port Arthur Texas - an oil town basically on the Texas/Louisiana border. But now that she sees her job slipping away as shes down by double-digits heading into next months run-off election (and the DNC has pulled its $ from her campaign), all of a sudden shes on the Senate floor --IN DEFIANCE of Democrat leadership-- demanding action on the bill. dailycaller/2014/11/12/landrieu-begs-the-house-to-vote-on-her-opponents-pro-keystone-bill/
