Funny how the government puts names on things like the Patriot Act - TopicsExpress

Funny how the government puts names on things like the Patriot Act (which overrides the balance of powers where the courts used to have to give warrants to search but after it passed it gives less privacy and freedom to Americans making nothing really patriotic about it, given the original patriots died for less government intrusion; we were rightly told this infringed on our civil liberties and that it would end when Obama took office but instead when Obama won the election it was expanded and extended) and the Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. Obamacare, when theres nothing affordable about it.) Now we hear Jonathan Gruber (who Obama touted as an authority to get Obamacare passed) talking about how the American people are stupid. We (the American voter) were told we could keep the same doctors, that the government wouldnt interfere with the patient and doctor relationship, that if we liked our own insurance we could keep it, that Obamacare would create great efficiencies and savings...so when Gruber says how stupid the American voters are for helping to get Obamacare passed, need I remind him that he and Obama connived on how to lie to the American people to get it barely rammed through Congress? Gruber, you and Obama are not intellectual elites over the American people. The only thing stupid about the American people was to trust you liars that you were telling us the truth. The names of the very bills to get passed are lies doing the exact opposite of what they say. Deceit is often used to take freedom and grow government control over our lives. Each year this happens we lose more control over our government and it needs to stop! The federal government needs to be scaled back in size. The Tea Party has organized in a grassroots way to do exactly that and you should look more into that movement by joining us this coming Thursday. See the comment section below for more details.
