Funny, isnt it how words repeat themselves on the other lips. We have scripture that speaks of foundations both solid and shaky, and we even have definitions of foundations. I was watching a national prayer service which Dr. Billy Graham, our nations esteemed evangelist and spokesman for Christ, referred to the structures the terrorist destroyed on 9/11/2001. He stated that the twin towers may have been destroyed, but their foundations, amazingly enough, were still in place. He then spoke for great relief for our nation, saying, its the same with us. If our foundations are in place, then nothing else really matters. David talks about personal foundations all through the Psalms. As shaky as Davids life was at times, his life was based on a strong foundation. Father, we pray today that the roots of our faith run deep, and that our foundations are strong. As we may fail at times in our life, we pray our strong foundations will help us keep our eyes on you. Father, it is in the name of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ we pray. Amen
