Funny story. I ordered both Denelle and I new road bikes this week. They are both identical with the exception that Denelles has a smaller frame. They both arrived on Wednesday. One box was larger than the other, so I assumed this was my bike and went about assembling it, making adjustments, etc. I even took if for a short 1/2 mile ride before the rain started. Then, Thursday night I opened Denelles box and put her bike together so we could go for a short ride on our new bikes. I had Denelle get on so I could adjust her seat height. She had to stand on the tip of her toes just to straddle the frame! I was majorly bummed that I apparently had gotten her the wrong size frame. Denelle then says I think this one looks bigger than yours! So I look over at her box and actually read the label. It was MY bike! So, I went about re-adjusting both bikes to fit the appropriate rider. The other bike (first one I assembled) fit Denelle MUCH better! The moral of the story is, dont judge a product by the size of its box. Actually READ the label! Oh, and the picture I posted on Instagram on Wednesday of my new bike? Yeah, thats Denelles bike...live and learn.
