Funny story... So yesterday Im at my office in Canton meeting a client with plans to go to Ryans game afterwards, which was also in Canton. Ryan texted me from the bus asking me to bring Gatorade to the game. At this point I realize I FORGOT MY WALLET! I have nothing on me to buy his Gatorade, and Im praying there is no fee to get into the complex for the game! So I contemplate explaining my situation to my client and then asking him if I could borrow $5. Thinking thats not the best thing to ask a brand new client that just got the nerve up to allow me to invest his entire retirement account, I immediately scrap that idea. I was able to scrape up $1.36 in mostly dimes, nickles and pennys. Wondering if thats enough to buy a large Gatorade, I reason that a Dollar General store I happened to be passing might be my best bet. As it turns out the Gatorade was $1 there and $1.07 with tax! There was no entry fee for the game. Mission accomplished! I cant help but think that the sight of some guy driving up in a BMW with a pinstriped suit and tie... at a Dollar General ....paying for a Gatorade with a hand full of small change, must have hilarious to see. :)
