Funny story about Etsy. My shop was suspended because I listed a handmade item that resembled an item on a commercial website, when in fact it was because a jealous female didnt like how many favorites I had on the item. She said she made similar items and I was copying her style. Im in no way the type to point fingers, but it was necessary this time. They refused to open my shop back because I didnt feel comfortable releasing information to them about my handmade process when it wasnt necessary. The person I spoke with attempted to tell me that another one of my items was listed on a commercial website but she couldnt provide me with a link to the website. I asked why was my shop being targeted when there were plenty of US shops that sell items that they purchased from overseas. She attempted to reassure me how incorrect I was. I provided her with 10 shops along with 20 links to wholesale stores to prove my point. She decided not to respond. So I forwarded all of our emails, including the shops & links, to one of her colleagues. My shop was instantly restored and all 10 shops were shut down. I believe that if they are going to treat one of us like crap for the wrong reasons, they need to step up and reinforce their policies on these shops that blatantly violate it. Am I wrong?
