Funny thing in the ETS (Educational Testing Service - TOEFL people) presentation today. They talked about documentation needed for foreign students to get accommadation. They were asked about doctors statement. They said that (for LD) no, but for outside of N. America they would accept it, because, though doctors shouldnt diagnosis dyslexia, in some countries it seems to happen. They really dont know better. Putting aside the small insult, this shows that our system of doctors being involved in diagnosis is strange.
