Funny what you can find in your draws ;-) This invoice from 16-4-1977 Chattertons for my Yamaha DT400M. £592,60p + vat 8% £47,40p = £640.00. Recieved with thanks from Chris Mehew a local racer at that time and a very clever engineer. We (2 mates Mick Parker and Kim Allenby) bought 3 Dts that day, and shipped them over to Banda Abbas (Iran) where we working/living at the time. About 6 months later both Micks and Kims bikes were stolen from our yard in the middle of the night, they left mine as it been well used compared to others that still looked like new ;-) Happy days !!
