Furiends, It took over three years, but a man in Michigan is finally being brought to justice. In May 2011, a veterinarian called a sheriffs department regarding a suspected animal abuse case. Through her perserverance, two cats were removed from the home and now live with her. This kind veterinarian has never given up on prosecuting the person responsible for the abuse of the cats and, in August of this year, was finally able to get the abuser, Randy Dejarnette, arraigned on animal cruelty charges. He also has a domestic violence charge pending against him. The kitty, now named Olivia, is thriving in her new home. Her rescuer is asking for help signing an online petition to enforce a stiffer penalty on Mr. Dejarnette. Please take a moment to read the atrocities Liv experienced and sign the petition.
