Furthering yesterdays statement about the power our current administration has granted the Tennessee Department of Saftey and Homeland Security (yes they are implanted in Tennessee as well as the Federal Government) to take the property of citizens, the abuse begins the same in most cases. A police officer, generally a an agent of a Drug Task Force in every county in the State, seizes your property without a warrant of any kind. The agent must appear appear before a judge within five days to justify the taking of your property, when no arrest has been made. While this sounds like a great idea, you the owner of the property do not get to ask any questions or raise any defenses to the Seizure. Not a word may be uttered as to why your property has been taken. You must first pay 350 to 700 dollars to even ask why, this abusive branch of government beyond the reach of any local judge, has your property.
